PayPal official app for BlackBerry

PayPal is probably the God of online businesses. It’s like an international bank. Actually, it is really considered to be a bank because I remember they asked for an identity card excusing themselves but they’re now a realy bank and they have to do that.

PayPal PayPal official app for BlackBerry

Anyway, this time I want to talk to you by the official PayPal app because if you use this service a lot and you have a BlackBerry, you should consider getting an app for that. As I said, the developer is the eBay Company which also owns PayPal so I think I got this clear for you until now.

I was surprised to see that they only have 2.5/5 stars from 352 reviews. I read some reviews and I have noticed that most customers were experiencing seriously problems. As an example, many of them can’t send money or accept payments or anything like that. They can only check their balance. I think that after some time, eBay will sort this out because they did an awesome job with the iOS app. It works perfect and it looks even better and I think they should do the same thing with this one too. The app is free and you can get it from the App World.

m:IQ will backup your BlackBerry for FREE

Usually, when a developer makes an app, he uses to exaggerate in the app’s description even though there are some cases when they are even too lazy to write a description.

mIQ m:IQ will backup your BlackBerry for FREE

Well, the description of this app starts with a true sentence that I wasn’t expecting and it says everything you should know about this app. This app allows you to backup your BlackBerry for free.

Anyway, you need to hear some more things to be more interesting. The first interesting thing is that this app is backing up your contacts, text messages, calendar events, call log, photos and videos. They are being uploaded immediately after you save or modify anything. This is very useful because it might happen to forget backing them up but in this way, that will never happen.

All of these informations are being uploaded to their server in a private web account so you can go and visit their website to view your private web account. If you need any kind of backup, I think there are no doubts that this is the prior app that you should try. Just to tel you know, it has been developed by Best Buy Mobile. You can find it for free in the App World.

Sensobi Contacts app for BlackBerry

I remembered that almost each time I take a look into the Test Center category, I find awesome apps to review and this time is not an exception. Yes, I found a very interesting app and because it’s free of charge, you might all want to take a look at this post.

Sensobi Sensobi Contacts app for BlackBerry

Basically, this is just a contacts organizer app. If I would stop right now, I think that many people that downloaded this app will hate me. They say this is targeted on the business people but I personally think that many of you will find it interesting too.

This app helps you organize contacts by how often you call them. You can also rank your contacts and set follow ups right in your calendar, track your past communications for each contact or see who is falling off your radar.

I took a look into the reviews and I was quite delighted. This app has 3.5/5 stars from 111 reviews at this moment which is not a lot but it’s enough to make you think that this is a really worth it app. Also, most of those customers said about it that it is the best contacts organizing app. A I said, you can find it for free in the App World so you should go and look for it.

Aces 3D Pool game for BlackBerry

3D in games for BlackBerry smartphones is still very rare but each time I have the occasion to see a 3D game for the BlackBerry smartphones, I immediately talk about it on this blog because I think it is possible to have even all 3D games from the App World because they are very few of them.

Aces 3D Pool Aces 3D Pool game for BlackBerry

Anyway, this is one of them and I also think it is one of the bests. I want to congratulate the guys from Concrete Software who designed and built this game from scratch because they did an awesome job.

This app is on the first page in the top paid box and they really deserve that. At this time, they are on the first place which is unbelievable. They only have 5 reviews rating 4/5 stars and they are already the best. One of the best features of this game is that you have an option of two players so when you get bored with a friend and you’re also bored of tic-tac-toe which is the borning killer game, you can take your BlackBerry out of your pocket and play this game.

This game costs $2.99 and you can get it from the App World.

BlackBook – hide your calls, contacts and messages

I have a feeling that most of the customers of this app are teenagers or people that are doing something very wrong and want to hide this from other people.

BlackBook BlackBook hide your calls, contacts and messages

Anyway, what this app actually does is to hide contacts, calls and messages. This is basically everything it does. I want to say by now that this is on 40% off sale so if you’re considering buying it, think faster before you will have to pay more for it.

There is a feature of this app that actually made me laugh. There is actually no icon for this app so by now you should appreciate the fact that this is a very good app that’s hiding these things very good. To launch the app you will have to press the red end-call key 5 times. I think there is no better way of hiding contacts, calls and messages.
It could happen for a person to find the icon in your phone and turn off the hidings from contacts, calls and messages but in this way they done it, this will never happen unless that person will be another BlackBook customer. The app costs $3.99 and you can buy it from the App World.

Mr. Number app review

In rare occasions, when a good app is released, there are other apps copying the original one and they’re actually doing a much better thing. This is exactly what this app did.

Mr. Number Mr. Number app review

You might remember those apps that allow you to set a text message and to automatically send it to the contacts you get a call from. Well, this app uses that feature to bring the status function from IM to mobile voice and text which is awesome.

Of course that you will not have a status field in each of your contacts list. The status will actually be a text message but this is getting even better. When you get a call and you set it on a do not disturb mode, the person calling you will be ignored and it will receive a text message set by you. You can also tell them that you only want to talk through messages or through voice calls.

You can also set a status to tell your contacts when you can actually be contacted which is another useful feature that you could use when sombode tried contacting you for quite a lot of time while you were away. The app is free in the App World.

Nappin’ app review for BlackBerry

This is quite a funny app. Actually, the funny thing is the reason of why the developer made this app and not the app itself. I have to say that I have never enjoyed so much reading a description of an app, you should try to read it too. It’s short, it tells what it has to tell and again, it’s funny.

Nappin Nappin app review for BlackBerry

Nappin’ it’s an app that allows you to nap but it also allows you to sleep. You know you have been able to do that before too but I bet you also had troubles with it.

The developer developed this app for him and for the other people meeting the same situation namely when you take a nap, set the alarm clock but then you forget to set it back so you might be late to school or work. It had happened me thousands of times before and I think this is a must have for anyone. This is like an alarm clock just for naps. You just set the time you want to sleep and press start; after that time is passing, the alarm clock will ring.

The app is free so you can go and get it from the App World.

World Wonders – app review

Here is another app from XIMAD and I’m writing about it with the same attitude as I did last time. I think this is another app from XIMAD which will become famous, again, probably will also be featured on the first page of app world. It has everything XIMAD usually provides in their apps.

World Wonders World Wonders app review

The first thing I want to mention in this review is that this game has some aesome graphics and I know that they also wanted to have those advanced graphics because I read the press release they sent to me.

The other great thing about this app is its originality. I actually never saw an app doing what this one does. The description they provided in the app world is very poor but I you can realize everything this app does namely to tell you the most amazing things in the world like the tallest… or the longest… and so on.

I know that such an app can’t really have too many features because there’s nothing you can think of but they still added SMS / e-mail share, save to favorites and inspiring ideas for vacations.

The app costs $1.99 and you can get it from here.

Musical Clock for BlackBerry

I just talked about some apps that people consider to be silly to have on your BlackBerry. Well, this might also be one of them but fortunately, it’s free so if someone doesn’t actually like it, there is no regret of spending money on a worthless app.

Musical Clock Musical Clock for BlackBerry

Anyway, this is simply a musical clock which is exactly the name of this app. “Musical Clock” may already suggest you that this app allows you to set alarms music but the most important, radio stations as your alarms. I have to say that I have been looking for something like this for the iOS too but I didn’t find anything yet.

You know how good it is when you get woken up by your favorite song. Imagine the same thing but with your favorite radio station. I think that would be awesome or at least for those ones who listens to different radio software. Unfortunately, they haven’t mentioned anything about last.fm which is the only online radio station I listen.

This app has 4/5 reviews which is the average of a total of 134 reviews which is quite a high number. The app is free as I said so you can go and download it from the App World.

FlashLightCombo app for BlackBerry

I usually don’t review this kind of apps because there isn’t too much to talk about and they’re mostly boring but this one promises us to give us something more special while it is the same thing as the other apps.

FlashLightCombo FlashLightCombo app for BlackBerry

We’re talking about a flash light app and to start this review, I want to mention that the name of this app is FlashLightCombo. Well, this app is so special because it’s not just one flashlight but about 4 flashlight apps in the same app.

This app has two big abilities and I already mentioned one above. The other one is that this app can allow you to assign only one shortcut to all of those 4 flashlight apps which is awesome. As an example, you will have to press 3 times a certain key to enable the red flashlight that you normally use to check your baby. I talked some time ago about another flashlight app which was explaining us that different colors give use different feelings and I also wrote about few of them.

Anyway, you can use this app just to enable all of those flashlights. The app costs $0.99 and you can get it from the App World.
