First of all, I have to tell you that BlackBerry confirmed a contract with T-Mobile so the phone will be released in their shops before the holidays. Initially, people were waiting for BlackBerry 9700 Bold to be released on 11 November but we see that they didn't confirmed this release date so it was just a wrong rumor.

The main details of the new BlackBerry 9700 Bold are these: 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 3.2 MP Camera and Multimedia. The main upgrade and the most helpful from my opinion is the Wi-Fi. As I said in other posts, any smart phone should have Wi-Fi on it because for example you are taking the dinner and you get bored while waiting the bill but you have Wi-Fi there so you can browse the internet or check your eMail for free. Now, it's not worth to buy the previous model of this phone, either buy this one, or don't buy anything.
