RIM released a Blackberry loves U2 ad earlier this week, sampling U2's 'I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight' which is the third single off their new album, No line on the Horizon.

RIM will also be releasing a 'Mobile Album' app, which is reported to allow you to listen to the new album, watch music videos, read U2 news, and check out dates of the current 360 tour.  A unique feature included in the app is a function in which you'll be able to locate the band members and other blackberry users at each concert.

The Mobile Album will also allow U2 fans  to upload images that they've taken, which are inspired by songs on the new album.  According to instructions on U2's official site, U2.com, fans can "Share the images you associate with certain songs and we'll select some to tell the story of each track in the 'Origami' section of the App"

RIM hasn't yet announced a released date for the Mobile Album, but some sites are speculating that it might be released in conjunction with the release of the Blackberry Tour 9630 on 12 July.
