Here is another episode from the Q&A series. This one is a little special comparing it to the other episodes because this time, I will answer only to the questions about the BlackBerry Curve 8900. I hope you will find this useful:

1) Q: My old 8900 has been crashed so I replaced it and I uploaded on it my backup but I haven’t been receiving e-mails or any of my Facebook notification. How can I solve that?
A: It might be a problem from your carrier but if it’s not, you may solve it in the classic way: remove the battery for 15 seconds and then see if you start receiving e-mails.

2) Q: Can I synchronize my BlackBerry 8900 with the Outlook from my computer?
A: Unfortunately, at the moment there is no solution for this. You can’t do that either if you use BES.

3) Q: I want to receive e-mails only when I ask for them. I keep receiving them even when I turn off reconciliation. How can I do that?
A: RIM pushes your e-mail to your to your device regardless but there is a new feature brought about with BIS 3.0 so that Gmail is not set to reconcile your BlackBerry.
