Being released with at a distance of 1 year, the BlackBerry Storm 9530 weights 155g while the other one has only 5g in plus.
While the BlackBerry Storm 9530 has 1GB of internal memory, the BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 has 2GB of internal memory.
Also, the BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 has Wi-Fi connection while the BlackBerry Storm 9530 doesn’t.
The BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 also has a faster CPU comparing it to the BlackBerry Storm 9530’s CPU.

i am a user of blackberry 9530 storm 1 , i have used my blackberry since 2010 , for this second years i use this blackberry i have not found any big problem from my blackberry yet , usually the problem just come from the operating system. I ever try to upgrade my operating system to hybrid Operating system because many people tell me that with using hybrid operating system our blackberry perform can better than before , but actually the operating system that i have installed to my blackberry make my blackberry perform become slower than before , i think not all of the blackberry can match with this hybrid operating system . although there are a different between storm 1 and storm 2 , i think the different is not too significant so i prefer to use my lovely blackberry storm 1 , because until now i have not found any problem come from the hardware , and i think old product is stronger than new product . for all blackberry storm 1 user , love your storm 1 so your blackberry will love you to .
