This is the second post where I talk to you about BlackBerry shortcuts. This smartphone has a lot of hidden shortcuts and I'll never finish writing them here. I found another interesting shortcuts and you can find out how to use them, below.
To enable the home screen shortcuts, you have to press the green phone key > the menu key > the "o" key to go to options > click on general options > disable the dial from the home screen feature > click the menu and click on save. Most people don't use that feature and I assure you that the home screen shortcuts are much more useful. Now go to the icon screen to use the enabled shortcuts:
- press the "M" key to go to the messages
- press the "O" key to go to options
- press the "L" key to go to the calendar
- press the "T" key to go to tasks
- press the "A" key to go to the adressbook
- press the "S" key to go to the search feature
- press the "K" key to lock the keyboard
- press the "B" key to go to the browser
When you enter the menu you'll see that each function has a point emphasized indicating the shortcut key to it. You can see an example here.
I hope this was helpful and you'll use it on your phone.
