The Blackberry world is waiting for the release of the Blackberry Tour, a world edition, in their own country. There was an announcement a few days ago from Verizon about their release followed by Sprint countering with an almost exact offering, knowing that Verizon and Sprint had an agreement on the shipping of Blackberry Tour.
Both Verizon and Sprint have announced the Blackberry Tour release date of 12 July and a matching price of $200 based on a two year contract. Sprint as a matter of fact made their announcement exactly one day after Verizon. Everyone thought there would be some miraculous appearance of the Storm's sequel but know all eyes and ears are somehow fixed on the next-in-line promise. Some features that make the handset worth the wait include: Fast performance following the 256 mb of on board ram and revved up media playing capabilities. Service providers would be adding their particular music and tv services to their editions. Each handset comes with gps and navigation functionality supported by the service of the particular company. Blackberry's push email and high grade web browsing still brings to the Blackberry Tour the famous brand selling points and including the well known and duly expected Messaging features not forgetting the added access to facebook and twitter sites.
