I think any phone that can access internet should have a dedicated application and if it doesn't, it can access it by browsing the homepage of yahoo and logging in. If you're addicted to yahoo instant messenger or if you just want to keep in touch with your friends, you should realy have this app. If you yet didn't realise, BlackBerry Yahoo Instant Messenger application is FREE and you can download it from here (NOTE: you are forced to visit that link with Internet Explorer because that page uses ActiveX controls that works only in the previously mentioned web browser).

If you think that you should rather use the webmessenger, I assure you that any dedicated application is more easy to use and at the same time, it looks way too attractive. A very important thing is that the BlackBerry Yahoo Messenger application was built and released by yahoo so we should expect at a high application and with few, or even better, with no bugs at all.

A very cool fact at this application is that it comes with very much language options so you can't say that you won't know how to use the BlackBerry Yahoo Messenger application. If you don't use yahoo messenger so often, there is no reason to install this app but if you're addicted to it, I recommend you to install it.
