This is also a technical comparison, because while Samsung Exhibit 4G was already been launched, the Blackberry Torch 9850 is still preparing its release.
The dimensions are a little different, Blackberry measuring 120 x 62 x 11.5 mm and weighting 135 g, while Samsung measures 119 x 58 x 13 mm and weights 125 g. So, there is a little difference, Blackberry being a little heavier and at the same time bigger.

This is also a technical comparison, because while Samsung Exhibit 4G was already been launched, the Blackberry Torch 9850 is still preparing its release.

Regarding the display, besides the fact that Samsung's screen is AMOLED, Blackberry has a 3.7 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with 480 x 800 pixels, while Samsung has a 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with 480 x 800 pixels. That takes us to the camera chapter, where Blackberry wins, with a 5 MP, 2592х1944 pixels, with autofocus compared to Samsung's 3.15 MP, 2048x1536 pixels, with LED flash.

Another difference is the CPU memory: Blackberry is equipped with a 1.2 GHz processor, wile Samsung has a 1 GHz processor. So in the end, I would choose Blackberry Torch 9850 instead of Samsung Exhibit 4G, but that is only me.

This is a initial and purely technical comparison between Blackberry Torch 9860 and LG Optimus Black P970.
Concerning the size, the 2 phones are approximately the same: Blackberry has 120 x 62 x 11.5 mm and weights 135 g, and LG has 122 x 64 x 9.2 mm and weights 109 g. Resulting that Blackberry is heavier and LG is bigger.Regarding the display, Blackberry is equipped with a 3,7 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors with 480 x 800 pixels, which is kind of weaker compared to the 4 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M [...]

The advantage for Blackberry is the internal memory, being equipped with a 4 GB storage with 768 MB RAM, which is bigger then LG's 2 GB storage (1 GB user-available) and 512 MB RAM. The rest of the features are approximately the same, except Blackberry looses ground in front of the 2 MP secondary camera that LG has , but recuperates with the 1.2 GH processor, because LG has only 1 GH.

As I was talking in the past, the BlackBerry Torch had a very big release, there are a lot of people who heard about it, even who ever had any RIM product but most of them are smartphone owners.

We all know that RIM made a very good job with this new phone. They made something unique that was never done before. Yes, I know there are a lot of other touchscreen smartphones with a full physical QWERTY keyboard too but all of those phones have the sliding keyboard at one side while at the BlackBerry Torch, the keyboard pops out from below.

I recommend you watching YouTube reviews and unboxing videos to make a better idea about this phone and to realize if it’s really worth it thinking about what you need from a smartphone and what does this phone actually “do”.

You can also read our little preview, just use the search box from the bottom right corner and see the articles where we talked about this phone.

If you want or if you really are at the moment a Vodafone or orange customer and you’re also an UK citizen, you can try to buy this phone from Phones 4U.

It's called the PlayBook and it's not just another tablet on the market, it stands out quite a lot and you'll see why.
If you're a RIM fan, you probably already heard about the new tablet they launched. It's called the PlayBook and it's not just another tablet on the market, it stands out quite a lot and you'll see why. Honestly, I never thought that there will be an iPad competitor that will get so close to the iPad. If you ask me, the best iPad killer is the PlayBook.

I also never thought that people will be so excited about this tablet. I know this tablet is very important, much important than the new BlackBerry Torch and will probably be much important than the BlackBerry Storm 3 too because it brings something new in the tablet market and you'll see what specifically in the specs I added to the post below.

The tablet is only 7" wide and I honestly think that that's a little too low but thanks God it doesn't have the format of the Samsung's tablet because it would really look like a giant phone then. Anyway, they made it that big to be portable.

It also has a front facing camera which is very good aspect because you can make video chats like so. This became a must have on the tablets these days.

Unfortunately, the apps from the BlackBerrys doesn't work at all on the PlayBook but soon, there will be plenty of apps for it too.

Fortunately, it has another OS than the BlackBerry phones so they didn't take the Samsung's example of taking the Android OS which wasn't optimised for tablets on a tablet. The main reason of why so many people talk about this tablet and why it is so special is because it has a dual core 1GHz processor which is quite big for a tablet and never seen before on another tablet. You also get 1GB of RAM memory which should make this table real fast.

Now people expect from it to be the God of all tablets and I have to say that I've seen a lot of clips on youtube with it and if it isn't that good, at least it gets closer.

It has a 3MP front facing camera and a 5MP rear facing camera and it supports 1080p HD recording video. It also weights around a pound which is not too much, it's enough foor its sizes comparing to the other tablets I guess. Here are the full specifications of this tablet:

7-inch LCD, 1024 x 600, WSVGA, capacitive touch screen with full multi-touch and gesture support

BlackBerry Tablet OS with support for symmetric multiprocessing

1 GHz dual-core processor

1 GB RAM

Dual HD cameras (3 MP front facing, 5 MP rear facing), supports 1080p HD video recording

Video playback: 1080p HD Video, H.264, MPEG, DivX, WMV

Audio playback: MP3, AAC, WMA

HDMI video output

Wi-Fi - 802.11 a/b/g/n

Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR

Connectors: microHDMI, microUSB, charging contacts

Open, flexible application platform with support for WebKit/HTML-5, Adobe Flash Player 10.1, Adobe Mobile AIR, Adobe Reader, POSIX, OpenGL, Java

Ultra thin and portable:

Measures 5.1"x7.6"x0.4" (130mm x 193mm x 10mm)

Weighs less than a pound (approximately 0.9 lb or 400g)

RIM intends to also offer 3G and 4G models in the future.

Looking closely at the Blackberry Curve 9300, Phones 4U is one of the best third party mobile phone retailers out there, providing a huge range of networks and phone manufacturers for you to choose from. Not only that, but every week Phones 4U highlight one of their generous deals for you to view. Simply visit the Phones 4U homepage at www.phones4u.co.uk and look for the “Deal of the Week”. This week’s great value deal is on the BlackBerry Curve 9300, a highly enabled phone with a fully functional QWERTY keyboard.

Although originally BlackBerrys were thought of as business phones, they have spread like wildfire into the market for social networking. The QWERTY keyboard is perfect for typing out text messages, status updates and emails. The phone’s 3G and WiFi capability allows for seamless internet browsing, so you are never cut off from the social hub. The unique BlackBerry messenger allows you to instantly communicate with other BlackBerry phones.

Currently at Phones 4U, the top of the range BlackBerry Curve 9300 is only available on the Orange network as a pay monthly phone. For line rental of just £27.50 a month for 18 months, you can get the Curve absolutely free, which is not true for many other retailers. For that price you get 500 minutes and 3000 texts per month. The special offer associated with this phone is an additional 500MB of anytime mobile phone internet browsing as well as unlimited access to BlackBerry email.

The £27.50 a month tariff currently on offer with this phone is the Orange Dolphin £35 tariff, knocked down especially for good value with this BlackBerry phone. Take advantage of this great offer soon before it goes away! Check back every week at Phones 4U to find a deal of the week to suit you on your favourite Blackberry like the Blackberry Pearl or the Blackberry Torch. Updated frequently, many top of the range phones can be found at great value prices in this offer. Think about it

The Blackberry Pearl 3G 9015 has been designed with user ergonomics in mind and is both compact in size and pocket friendly. This particular handset is suitable for business users as well as personal Smartphone users as it offers a variety of features to suit both parties.

On this very little review we want to look Blackberry Pearl in general, looking at it's best features and general comparison, so we can have a better understanding of the engineering surrounding RIM as we made with the preview of the Blackberry Pearl 3g 9100. The 3G 9105 supports high-speed technologies as well as 3G HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, the handset also houses a number of business applications such as an easy to use Internet browser, an impressive email service and many document viewing capabilities.

The handset is both stylish and neat in design and comes with a bevelled keypad that acts as a QWERTY keyboard and a bar form housing. Each key however also has multi function key options. The screen has a great quality display due to the phones high resolution and comes complete with the Blackberry Pearl operating system and 3G technologies.

The dimensions of the Blackberry Pearl are 10.8cm tall, 5cm wide and 1.33cm deep and the entire handset weighs a total of 93.6 grams with the battery pack fitted. This makes it the ideal sized handset to slip into a back pocket or bag when not in use.

Both the camera and video recorder offered by the Blackberry Pearl are of extremely high quality and allow the user to capture images and record footage whilst on the move. This media can then be downloaded to a PC or laptop. The 3.2 megapixel camera also comes with a built in flash and a 2.5 x digital zoom. The handset features and integrated media player, which allows users to both access and listen to their favourite tracks on the go, as well as add many additional tracks.

Have you seen the new Blackberry Torch available at Dialaphone ? They've done a great new review on it so click here and check it out now!

Being released with at a distance of 1 year, the BlackBerry Storm 9530 weights 155g while the other one has only 5g in plus.

While the BlackBerry Storm 9530 has 1GB of internal memory, the BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 has 2GB of internal memory.

Also, the BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 has Wi-Fi connection while the BlackBerry Storm 9530 doesn’t.

The BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 also has a faster CPU comparing it to the BlackBerry Storm 9530’s CPU.

The last thing I would like to mention is that the BlackBerry Storm 2 9520 has a HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA 3G connection on it while the Blackberry Storm 9530 has a HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps 3G connection.

I also know that the BlackBerry Storm 2 9530 comes with an upgraded touch screen to improve its functionality.

This will be kind of a series post so this is not the last time when you will see this kind of post on this blog. Anyway, let’s start with the questions and answers:

1)	Q: I have a BlackBerry Bold 9000 and I want to go to Japan. Can I successfully do this and how I do it?
A: You can do that if you have an unlocked phone and then to buy a SIM card from Japan or to activate the roaming from your phone. Anyway, the BlackBerry phone that can do this best is the 8703.

2)	Q: I own a BlackBerry Curve 8900 and since a while, it won’t turn on. When I try to turn it on, the red light blinks a little while and that’s all. How can I fix that?
A: Basically, you have a problem with your OS. To find a fixing tutorial, click here.

3)	Q: I bought a BlackBerry product from eBay without a contract; do I need to have internet on it either if I don’t need it?
A: If the device doesn’t have an IT policy, which is blocking the things that you want to do with your BlackBerry device.
