Skyfire for Blackberry is yet to come for public release. Once Skyfire's private alpha version 1 for Blackberry was launched back in April, Blackberry owners found out what their web browsing experience was supposed to be like all along. Then, it was launched the Skyfire Alpha version 2. So while we are all waiting for the unofficially-announced release of the public beta it seems to be the perfect time to review all of the great features that keeps us longing for better.

Surely the highlight of Skyfire's web browser is it's ability to play flash content such as Youtube on Blackberry, which sadly to date is unknown in Blackberry browser circles.

Vlingo's one of those Applications- It's software integration offers much advancement in terms of BlackBerry voice recognition technology. Although using Vlingo is free, there is an upgrade available extending to even more functionality. Free and Plus Ver.3 will respectively enable voice recognition for the following:
- Free to Search the Web.
- Free to Make a phone call.
- Free to Update Twitter and Facebook.
- Free to make personal notes.
- Free to open and access all Applications no matter if they BlackBerry native or 3rd Party.
- Free to Send and Reply to Text Messages when Contacts have Vlingo.
- UPGRADE enables you to use Text Messaging and Email for any Contact.
What I like about this package is that most of it is for free. I can really take my time and see if it grabs me and I'm not forced to pay for the upgrade, which in my opinion is a bit steep at $17.99.
