This is that kind of app that I think any phone should have in it. I remember when I had an old cheap Samsung but it was still telling me the percentage of battery and an estimation of how long it’s going to last.

This app does quite the same thing but there are also some added features like the battery temperature. I never thought you could know the temperature of your phone’s battery but that’s very useful because as an example, my phone is heating a lot when I’m playing on it for a long while or when I just use its resources a lot. That also happens when I use the GPS.
This app allows you to know how much percentage of your battery you got left but also how much time you can use that percentage. Through time, this app also makes some graphics but I don’t see how is this going to help you because you won’t lose less or more the apps you’re usually using. The last thing I want to mention is that you also get informed about the battery’s voltage but again, I don’t think this would help you, it would only inform you.
You can get the app from the app world for free.
Another phone lock application for Storm, Pattern Lock. I have tried slide-to-unlock app that feels like iPhone, but with that app, everyone can unlock my phone easily. Of course i can set a 4 digit password after the slide, but that just boring. But now i can really lock my phone with style using Pattern Lock.

This is the example of the useless app but showing off. All Whippoh does is simulates a whip with your Blackberry Storm or Torch. Well, i do try this app just to show off by making a whip sound using accelerometer, but i almost threw my Blackberry by accident.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen this app until now because it made me very excited about it. It’s called the Hubble Image Viewer so the name of it basically says everything about it. It was released on the 10th of March so it’s quite recently released.

If you go into the App World and look for this app, you will see that its description is very short. They’re just telling us that this app is just showing us pictures from the NASA’s HUBBLE satellite which is quite exciting because I don’t think you work at NASA to see these images right from the source so you just have this chance to see them.
I bet that most of you are now thinking that these are live photos but I have to disappoint you and tell you that these are not live photos. No civilian can see live photos from the HUBBLE satellite because it basically makes photos, send them to NASA and then they are being kept secretly for 1 year so that the scientists will have time to make investigations. I found this information in the HUBBLE’s official website’s FAQ.
The app is free and you can find it in the App World.
Want to lock you Blackberry Storm with style? Just like that iPhone's slide-to-unlock thing? Storm Slider is the answer
It looks exactly the same with the iPhone and works nicely in the Blackberry Storm.

What makes me worry everyday with my Blackberry is the Battery information. But now, i found this great app, Battery Watch.

Oh how i love browsing to spend my time. And in my Blackberry, i need more than my preloaded Blackberry Browser, my first choice goes to Opera Mini. I have experienced using Opera Mini 5 in my old mobile phones, as Opera Mini works in (almost) every phone.

What i love the most from this browser is the ability to do tabbed browsing. I can keep several pages open at the same time and easily switch between them using tabs (see screenshot above). I can open IMDB pages and my Twitter timeline at the same time. Besides tabbed browsing, Opera Mini support my touch screen phone, i can scroll easily, zoom the pages by pinching the screen. Also, this browser can keep my password and speed dial, so that i don't have to type the url and the login information everytime i want to see my Twitter timeline
Opera mini also have a simple beautiful interface. Well, i haven't tried any other browser in my smartphone, so maybe my opinion is a little biased. But right now, i will still keep using this browser. Opera web browser already has 170 million users, chances are you are already have it, but for those who want to try it, you can download Opera Mini here.
I think this is a clever way of having a voice mail. I don’t know why, but in my country people don’t use voice mails. They’re like afraid of them and some of them don’t even know what voicemail means.

This app allows you to have a voicemail with many cool features. I want to mention that this service is free on AT&T Wireless, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile and Sprint. Before start using this app, you have to make sure that you have free text messages, free minutes to voicemail and have set up voicemail alerts appropriately.
Also, for a low monthly fee, you get access to a service that allows you to use a read-it service which will simply read transcriptions of your voicemails without listening them. It’s a weird way of getting money from people.
The right way which was also adopted by these developers is to charge for an ad-free version. That ad-free version costs $1.99/month. It’s a bit weird to charge for such an app a monthly fee, usually, the ad-free versions of any app or game, it’s being charged only once. Anyway, these are not the only features in this app.
This is the free version, you can go and search it in the App World.
This is thing didn’t start as an app or at least not in my country. I was seeing this on cheap music TV channels. You had to send an SMS with your name and the person you want to find the match and the cost was somewhere around $1.49 but I think you had to send multiple text messages so you had to pay a lot for something like this.

This time you can have it for a lot cheaper price right in your pocket in case you own a BlackBerry. The fun thing is that when you pay that price, you will be able to use this app over and over again.
Now I can’t review the appearances of this app because they didn’t post any screenshots from the app. The only thing they posted is something that looks to be the intro screen to this app.
This app comes with a special feature namely that you can make a prank or just set a value for certain name combinations. This can be used if you want to make your girlfriend’s a nice surprise or if you want to couple somebody.
The app costs $2.99 and you can get it from the App World.
Reading is my passion. Be it a good book, a novel, or a magazine, i can't spend a day without reading something. And with Blackberry in my pocket, i need a good app to read my eBook collection. And so i stumbled upon this app, Mobipocket Reader.

To start using Mobipocket Reader, i also have to install it in my desktop computer. The desktop version is like the eBook library and the online eBookstore. I can do so much with it, including send it to my Blackberry. In my Blackberry, All ebooks stored on my local device will be listed here, the synchronization works automatically everytime i connect my Blackberry to my PC. I can even buy a book in the online eBookstore it provided.
