Tonido app review

It’s quite painful to review apps like this one because when the developer posts his app to the app world, he doesn’t make a good description and the screenshots are also not telling us too much. Fortunately, I think this time I can extract some information from the 3 screenshots he posted.

 Tonido app review

Its name sounds a bit weird because it has absolutely nothing to deal with the actual abilities of this app. The app is called Tonido as you can see in the title and the developer of this app is Codelathe LLC.

The app doesn’t have a certain design so if you’re looking for something that also looks good, this app is not for you at all.

This app was made to share and access your files from your Windows, MACOSX or Linux based computer. That’s a good thing you can do that in an easier way but you probably need a Wi-Fi phone or maybe this app is something like dropbox and if it is, then I recommend you to get the dropbox app. Unfortunately, this app is so new that it has absolutely no review and no rate so we’re not sure how good is this app.

The app is free and you can download it from here.

Storm and Torch only – Level app review

This is like the most famous app for any platform that has ever been made or at least one of them. If you have a phone with accelerometer, you definitely know this app. I think there was one man that built an app like this for a specific phone and then, all developers for all platforms developed more apps like that one.

Storm and Torch only Level app review

You basically open this app and then you place your Storm on the surface that you want to check to see if it stays fine. I’ve seen many versions of apps like this one but I have to say that this one is probably one of the weakest ones. Those tubes look like they’re filled with beer or even worst and it doesn’t look that catchy as the other apps I saw but in the end, you just need this app to work properly.

You probably feel released to see that this app has 4/5 stars because for the BlackBerry platform (actually the touch platform), this is the only app of this kind. Also, as you see in the title, this app is only available for the Torch and Storm.

This app is free and you can download it from here.

TrainTimes app review

This is a really cool app and a must have for many people (for those travelling quite often on big distances) but at the same time, I think few people thought about such an app.

28576 TrainTimes app review

This app is one of the most popular travelling apps but at the same time, I think this app might also be found in the utilities app and at quite a high place because at the same time, this app is very useful.

Basically, this app tells you the train journeys based on some information from various websites. Unfortunately, this service is only available to the UK citizens witch I think that’s a big stupid thing because they should at least put in the title of the application “only available in UK” or something like that so people won’t spend time reading reviews, viewing screenshots and then realizing that this won’t be useful for them.

Anyway, forgetting about that, you must know that this app has an overall rating score of 4/5 stars from 67 reviews which is enough to make you get it on your phone (of course, if you live in UK).

The app is free so if you want to download it, click here.

BlackBerry app review: Call Time Tracker

There are some carriers that give you a call log each month. Some of them are free and I asked for that too so I’m getting an e-mail with my call logs from that month. Well, this app allows you to do the same thing but you don’t need any longer to ask for that service from you carrier and you no longer have to wait a month to get a call log.

BlackBerry app review: Call Time Tracker

Falling deeply into the details of this app, you need to know that this is the perfect app for a business man but if you’re not a business person or at least if you don’t talk too much on the phone, this app is useless for you.

This app gives you an excel file with all you calls categorized by clients and projects which is a lovely thing especially if you’re that kind of person that loves to have all the things in his life well categorized and very accessible.

At the end of an important call, this app pops up so that you can bookmark that call or if the app is in the background, it will grab the details for later.

This app is free and you can download it from here.

BlackBerry app review: iLock

This is the best security app you’ll ever find that you’re sure it really protects what you want to protect from your BlackBerry. There are some other apps too saying that they protect you from viruses and other things but you’re not sure they really do that.

iLock BlackBerry app review: iLock

Well, this app is very useful in case your phone is also used by some other people or as it happens in my case, if you’re asked by many friends for your phone so that they can play on it (most of those people don’t really have a smartphone but they should definitely buy one) and you don’t want them to reach one app.

It happened many times to have a friend playing on my phone and then finding some personal stuff I didn’t want him to find so if I’d had this app on my phone, that wouldn’t have happened.

This app protects the apps that you want with a password so it’s quite simple at what it does but it’s also the best. More detailed, you can lock single photo, single folder or 3rd party apps. You should also notice its overall rate: 4.5/5 stars from 356 reviews.

The app is free and you can buy it from here.

BlackBerry app review: VQ Mileage Tracker

You might think that it’s easy to find a mileage app tracker and I’m saying that because I thought the same thing about a different app but when I started looking for it, I spent some good time finding the perfect one but this time you won’t have more apps to choose from, you only have this one because it’s quite unique considering everything it does.

BlackBerry app review: VQ Mileage Tracker

Basically, this app is a mileage tracker but the unique feature of it is that it is automatically doing that when you drive your car so you won’t have to launch this app anymore to track your car; you just get your car and go where you have to go.

This is a featured app and the overall rating of it is 4.5/5 stars which is a really good score also adding that it’s free so I suggest to try it because you have nothing to lose. Actually, after you install it, you won’t even know you’re using this app because you don’t need any longer to open it. You can do that just to check your tracks.

The last feature that I like is the automatic report generation which is made every week, month or quarter. As I said, the app is free and it can be downloaded from here.

Datepedia 2.0 App review

The place in the app world where you will definitely find an awesome app is the featured section which is the same place where I also found this app. I have to say that this is also one of my favorite apps ever because of its functionality and also advanced graphics.

112656 Datepedia 2.0 App review

One of the features of this app that I really like and which is also very unique is that it gives you alerts about national holidays from a variety of countries namely US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, France, Spain, Italy, Mexico and India and also religious holidays with included descriptions for each.

Another cool feature that I like is that it also provides major sporting events but that feature makes this app to be more like a news app but it doesn’t matter, this app is pure and simple awesome and I’m not the only one; you can also check the reviews from the link where you can also buy it. The guys from crackberry also loved it and here is what they said: "Use Datepedia to mark today as the day you found an easier way to keep track of important dates."

The app costs $4.99 but it’s definitely worth. You can buy it or check the other features by clicking here.

BlackBerry app review: StormSlider – Paid Edition

This is an interesting app probably because I found it in the entertainment category but I think it fits well in the utilities category too because it’s very useful and you’ll see why but its name should already answering that question for you.

23203 BlackBerry app review: StormSlider Paid Edition

They’re actually not mentioning it in the description, probably because they’re not allowed to but I’m telling you that it’s a perfect replica of iPhone’s lock screen but that’s ok, you don’t really need to know that to in deciding to buy it or not. You just need to know if you like it or not.

Anyway, besides the iPhone lock screen, this StormSlider app allows you to add a custom text in the box where is the slider but that’s really useless, I don’t see why you’d want to change that except if you don’t speak English and you want other text but if you don’t speak English, you would also not be reading this . Another feature of this app is to add custom backgrounds.

It’s a nice and also safe way to unlock your phone but it costs quite a lot despites the things that it does namely $2.99 but you can buy it from here.

BlackBerry app review: Lookout Mobile Security

There are plenty of apps like this over the internet but of course that not all of them are really good at what they’re supposed to do. Actually I don’t know too many things about those apps but I know that this app got 4/5 stars which is a great note telling us that it’s worth trying or even keeping it on your BlackBerry.

112864 BlackBerry app review: Lookout Mobile Security

If you don’t want to spend too much time on protecting your BlackBerry, then you should get this app because it offers you a large variety of important protection features so you won’t have to look for other protection apps.

The first feature is Security + Antivirus which blocks viruses, malware, spyware and scans every app you download. It also backups and restore your data (contacts and photos) and you can go to myLookout.com to check your data. The last feature is the famous “find my phone” which points on a map the position of your phone, triggers a loud alarm so you can hear it if it’s nearly you and it remotely wipe your data if you’ll never see again your BlackBerry.

What’s awesome from this app is that it’s for free and you can download it from here.

BlackBerry app review: Nimbuzz

This app is amazing or better said, it should be amazing and if they will release new updates, it will. As you might know, there are many apps that seem to be amazing from description and screenshots but when you test it on your BlackBerry or any other phone, it’s absolutely different from what you previously expected.

 BlackBerry app review: Nimbuzz

This app brings all Social Networks and all popular IM in one place so you can have easy access to all of them and also to speak with them through a friendly and cute interface. To clear it up for you, MSN, Skype, Google,Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, Facebook, MySpace and Hyves are all the services that the Nimbuzz app brings together into just one page. I think that’s amazing but at the same time, I think it will “eat” a lot of energy to be logged on so many IM and Social Networks.

Anyway, the other thing that I wanted to bring up is that this app has an overall rating of just 2.5/5 stars which is pretty low but that happened because a lot of people experienced troubles like automatically singing out from Skype, double messages or crashes.

The app is free so if you want to try it, click here and download it.
