The first plus is that BlackBerry Bold 9700 is newer with exactly one year being launch on October 2009 while the Nokia 5800 have been launched on October 2008.

Still Nokia 5800 is lighter weighting 109 grams while the BlackBerry Bold 9700 weights 122 grams.
