Here we go again with another “episode” of my favorite series of comparisons between the Nokia E72 and the BlackBerry products. As you can see in the title, we are continuing with a comparison between the Nokia E72 and the BlackBerry Bold 9000. First you should know that the BlackBerry Bold 9000 has been launched on May 2008 while the Nokia E72 has been launched earlier with more than a year, on June 2009.

Here you can’t say that it is a big difference because the Nokia E72 weights 128 grams while the BlackBerry Bold 9000 weights 133 grams.

Also, the Nokia E72 features a 320 x 240 pixels and 2.36 inches display while the BlackBerry Bold 9000 features a 480 x 320 pixels and 2.6 inches display. Also, the Nokia E72 has 16M colors while the BlackBerry Bold 9000 has only 65k colors.

What I love so much at these two phones is that both of them are featuring a 3.5mm audio jack which is also not going to be a trouble taking a decision between these two.

The Nokia E72 has 250 MB of internal memory while the BlackBerry Bold 9000 has 1 GB of internal memory but the Nokia E72 comes with a microSD slot card supporting up to 16 GB while the BlackBerry Bold 9000 comes also with a microSD but it supports only a half namely 8 GB.

Also, the Nokia E72 comes with the ARM 11 600 MHz processor while the BlackBerry Bold 9000 comes with a processor of 624 MHz. Anyway, you should also know that both phones are featuring 128 MB of RAM memory.

The Nokia E72 comes with a 3G HSDPA, 10.2 Mbps; HSUPA 2 Mbps connectivity while the BlackBerry Bold 9000 comes with a 3G HSDPA, 3.6 Mbps connectivity. Also, both phones are featuring Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity.

Here it depends on you if you prefer the Symbian OS 9.3, Series 60 v3.2 UI from the Nokia E72 or the BlackBerry OS from the BlackBerry Bold 9000.

The BlackBerry Bold 9000 comes with a simple 2 MP and 1600x1200 pixels camera with LED flash while the Nokia E72 comes with a better 5 MP and 2592 x 1944 pixels with autofocus and LED flash.

Another important fact in making a choice is to know that the Nokia E72 comes with a standard Li-Po 1500 mAh (BP-4L) battery while the BlackBerry Bold 9000 comes with a standard Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery.

As a last important thing, you should know that the prices for a new unlocked Nokia E72 are starting from $355 while the prices for a new unlocked BlackBerry Bold 9000 are starting from $299 but from what I think, this is still remaining a very though decision.
