Research in Motion should have announce yesterday, as a result of Twitter and Facebook messages, the new models BlackBerry Bold 9900, BlackBerry Torch 9810 and the BlackBerry 7 operating system. Unfortunately, the add promoted by the Canadian through social networks predicted an event on the 3rd of August.
The event in question is called #BB7FANNIGHT and will take place in Torono, Ontario. In this event, dedicated to the fans, will be displayed, most likely, all seven new models of BlackBerry smartphones. Besides the event, there was announced a contest for U.S. and Canada, offering a BlackBerry 7 at your choice as a prize.
Yesterday messages on Facebook and Twitter have been seen with optimism by fans and the press. Furthermore, the new devices have already appeared in several clips and pictures on the internet, which should mean that their release will not delayed too much. This delay does nothing beneficial for a company that just fired 2,000 employees.
It appears that we will have to wait a little until the launch of BlackBerry Bold 9900 and BlackBerry Torch 9810 .
Research in Motion launched, last week, the latest version of BlackBerry Messenger messaging service. The integration of BBM 6 into other programs such as Foursquare, Facebook or different games, allows users to access chat with friends or play with them through this application.
BlackBerry has integrated all major social networking platforms in the new BlackBerry Messenger 6, to facilitate communication between users. Moreover, the messaging service will be integrated, as well, into other social media applications with BBM support. Thus, you can talk with your friends from Facebook from the list of BBM, and vice versa.
"RIM is a fantastic partner. We are pleased to work with them to provide a better experience for millions of Foursquare users across the globe by BBM's integration with Foursquare", said Holger Luedorf, vice president Mobile and Partnership of the company Foursquare.
BlackBerry Messenger is used by over 45 million people of which 70% use it daily.
Here's the new released Assassins Creed game that I think you will not regret it after you try it on your Blackberry.
This game redefines the action/adventure genre with a rich and innovative gameplay, offering a mix balanced of stealth, chaotic action and puzzles that explore a world of Jerusalem since 1191 AD. So, you will play with Altair, a compromised Assassin Master, which is sent to kill eight characters (both Saracens and Knights Templar) in order to end the Third Crusade. Along the way, you will find that these characters are part of a dark secret that threatens not only the Holy Land, but the world itself.
I love this game because it has a marvelous graphic, an entertaining plot, and the story gets better and better. I don't think there is someone that wouldn't enjoy this game. It is a game that, when you finished it, you will start playing it, again.
I strongly recommend the Assassin's Creed game, because it plays superb on the Blackberry smartphone.
1. Few applications
Research in Motion boasts about the 35,000 applications on the online store. But who needs them? Obviously, BlackBerry customers, especially since we live in a world of applications. But the same consumers may find applications on Android Market, 200,000 of them and 425,000 in Apple store.
2. Lack of a cross-selling type system
Apple customers who received for Christmas gifts an iPhone or iPad tablet have suddenly decided they need a Mac, after all.Apple's sales cross type work. iPhone and iPhone customers are driven by the Mac. Research in Motion hasn't one. BlackBerry customers are on a desert island.
3. difficulty using
IPhone or Android consumer behavior has shown that the BlackBerry products can be anything but easy to use. Consumers simply do not have the patience to read the entire manual on how to make a call. They want to use the phone that ios handy, intuitive, without hundreds of settings made for simple operations. BlackBerry simply fails at this aspect.
4. Price
Arguments that Research in Motion could remain an important player in the mobile market if prices fall, does not work.
5. Where is the perfect candidate?
BlackBerry handsets are built on a wrong foundation. What was hot yesterday lives on today in the BlackBerry phones. Apple and Google are always one step ahead and Blackberry fails to go along with these companies.
DriveSafe.ly reads out loud SMS text messages but also e-mail on your Blackberry, so you can focus on the road and driving.
Release the temptation to answer the phone in the car while leaving the application DriveSafe.ly reads your messages and responds automatically for you. Thus, without any problem, you can always stay connected while you are listening to messages. For more specialized functions, you can download the application DriveSafe.ly Pro also available in BlackBerry App World, which allows can use additional voices, listening to individual posts and more!
This application was created because, lately traffic accidents doubled in the passed year and the motive is talking, messaging and other phone usage. I find this application very useful, because it helps you keep in touch with friends, family and business safely. And that is the most important part of the application, it keeps you safe and alert on the road.
Drive Safe.ly application is a must have for your Blackberry phone.
A few days ago I learned that RIM will launch BlackBerry OS7 terminals in the coming months, and now we have news about one of these models. Thus, after BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry 9900 Monza was revealed, it was the turn for Torch 2 to go into the official documents, resulting from the FCC tests.
Torch 2's Code name is RDM71UW at FCC and supports the connectivity bands GSM 850 and 1900, with the WCDMA II and V. These details confirm the possibility of the new terminal to operate in the AT & T network, not surprising, given fact that the first Torch was also in the operator's portfolio. It would be interesting to know, though, if Torch 2 will support HSPA + or NFC ...
From what we know so far, this new model comes with a 3.2-inch touch display, with 640 x 480 pixels, a 1.2 GHz processor, 768 MB RAM, 8 GB internal memory and a 5 megapixel camera. We now wait for a debut date for the BlackBerry Torch 2.

iPhone surpassed BlackBerry on the U.S. market in March-May of this year, informs Agerpres.
Thus, while iPhone's market share increased to 8.7% from 7.5% in the previous three months, Blackberry's market share fell to 8.1% from 8.6%. Samsung has maintained its leadership on the U.S. with a market share of 24.8% followed by LG with 21.1% (up from 20.9% in February) and Motorola with 15.1% (down from 16.1%).
On the top of the operating systems, the Android platform was the most important on smartphone market with a 38.1% share, up from 33% in February. However, the iOS system from Apple is now the second platform on the U.S. software market, with a share of 26.6%, up from 1.4% in February, followed by RIM 24.7% down from 28.9% three months ago, Microsoft with 5.8% share, down from 7.7%, and Palm, with a share of 2.4%, down from 2 8%.
Against all expectations, Blackberry has become a force to be reckoned with. Considering that the market is just beginning to grow, we will have many surprises, in a good way and bad way as well.
Manufactured by RIM, the BlackBerry Bold is the corporate's standard smartphone, but the iPhone has captured the public's imagination. Does BlackBerry Bold deserve to remain a standard for business or iPhone devices are bright but lacks in substance?
Now is the time for the duel between the Blackberry and iPhone, productivity smartphone vs. excellent multimedia phone. Both iPhone and Blackberry display email lists. BlackBerry Bold provides more navigation shortcuts plus a search function, and the iPhone doesn't, which allows, however, to select multiple messages to delete or move non-border, unlike the BlackBerry you can select only consecutive posts.
iPhone can display most Web pages and can navigate them. BlackBerry also displays Web pages but navigation is difficult because of the small zoom capability. Display in column presents some problems of exposure in some cases, not displayed in full text. Also, the BlackBerry Bold uses HTML compared to the iPhone, which does not support Flash.
First, both work, obviously with BlackBerry operating system. There are two smartphones with QWERTY keyboard and 2.46 inchTFT display with a resolution of 320x240 pixels.
There aren't any size differences , both have 60x109x14 mm, but Curve 8520 is two grams heavier than the heir (106, 104 grams). Battery life is 4 and a half hours talk time and 408 hours (Curve 8520) and 456 hours (Curve 3G 9300 -348 hours in 3G) in standby . The internal memory is 256MB (expandable up to 32GB with a microSD card), the camera has a resolution of 2MP, no flash. None of the models has a secondary camera for video calls. Both Curve 8520 and 3G 9300 have Bluetooth , GPRS, WiFi and no radio. The important difference is that 8520 hasn't 3G.
If in the case of Curve 8520 screen size is acceptable, we can say that we had more pretensions from 9300 3G.
The conclusion is that if you want a phone like Curve 8520, but with 3G and USB 2.0, then you can opt for Blackberry 3G 9300. But the price depends on the options.
