To curb unwanted utilization go to options>Exit when in a particular program to be closed. To see whats grading your speed press simultaneously- ALT and Escape keys, and letting go of the Escape key only,  you are able to scroll through the list of the running applications. And this I said on the last paragraph applies even to Nokia cellphones, Symbian S60 3rd and 5th Edition, or Sony Ericsson Satio that runs with Symbian S60.
