Vlingo's one of those Applications- It's software integration offers much advancement in terms of BlackBerry voice recognition technology. Although using Vlingo is free, there is an upgrade available extending to even more functionality. Free and Plus Ver.3 will respectively enable voice recognition for the following:

• Free to Search the Web.
• Free to Make a phone call.
• Free to Update Twitter and Facebook.
• Free to make personal notes.
• Free to open and access all Applications no matter if they BlackBerry native or 3rd Party.
• Free to Send and Reply to Text Messages when Contacts have Vlingo.
• UPGRADE enables you to use Text Messaging and Email for any Contact.

What I like about this package is that most of it is for free. I can really take my time and see if it grabs me and I'm not forced to pay for the upgrade, which in my opinion is a bit steep at $17.99.

Requirements: RIM OS 2.0+; Supports UK users (beta) and US users on Alltel, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, or Verizon.You are required to have a working internet connection and the program might run a bit slower on a weak signal or slow connection.
